Our Team.

Consultants are specifically selected according to their expertise and focus, to best address the requirements of individual client projects.  Each member of our team is highly qualified, skilled and experienced in specific areas of learning, organisational development or human resource management.  Each of our consultants also has significant operational experience in a range of private and public sector organisations.  This gives them insight into the challenges and requirements of the clients they work with.

Our consultants include Sally Allaway, Sarah Davis, Tanya Bland. Others join our team to add expertise as required.

Sally Allaway.

BA (Psych), Dip Ed, MBA

Personal Best founder and director Sally Allaway is an organisational development professional with a background in education, training and human resource management. She has extensive experience designing and facilitating learning and development initiatives across a range of industries. Prior to founding Personal Best in 2001, Sally’s corporate career saw her leading and managing large internal teams - both in Australia and the Asia Pacific region. She has a track record of successfully delivering business outcomes.

Sally’s approach is strategic and structured, which enables her to identify and understand complex business and operational issues; then articulate creative, tailored learning and development solutions to meet the individual needs of each organisation. She is a vibrant and positive communicator with a genuine interest in helping people to embrace their full potential.

In addition to the qualifications mentioned above, Sally has a Certificate in Neuroscience and a Certificate lV in Workplace Training & Assessment. She’s also accredited in a range of instruments and models that can be practically applied in Personal Best’s programs. She has been widely recognised as an industry leading professional, having received three awards for employee development, training and service excellence. Sally has also been awarded the Australian Institute of Hospitality Management Award for Industry Human Resources Practitioner.

Tanya Bland.

BSc. (Pharmacology)

Tanya Bland is an accomplished workshop facilitator and organisational development consultant. With a background as a corporate executive, Tanya understands the importance of designing and delivering training programs that address the real world challenges of today's competitive business environment.

Tanya’s consulting and training specialties include Leadership, Change Management, Persuasion and Influence, Team Performance, Negotiation, Facilitation Skills, Customer Experience, Emotional Intelligence, Coaching, and Personal Development Programs.

Tanya has a warm and engaging style that enables her to quickly and easily build rapport with even the most challenging groups. Building this rapport allows her to challenge workshop participants to step outside their comfort zones to shift attitudes and change behaviours.

Evaluations of Tanya’s training programs show demonstrable return on client investment, reflected in measurable learning transfer. Her long-term client relationships reflect their satisfaction with these returns.

Sarah Davis.

Bachelor of Business

Sarah Davis has over 15 years experience in organisational development.  Her specialty is assisting individuals and organisations to prepare for and build their future.  Sarah offers leading expertise in the following areas: organisational culture; organisational change; leadership development; executive coaching; performance and development; talent management; customer experience.

Sarah is experienced in:

Sarah is highly committed with a wonderful ability to engage at all levels and within all areas of an organisation.  She is known for her integrity, positive energy and the quality of her services.

Sarah’s has worked in various industries, including hospitality, banking and finance, insurance, logistics, infrastructure and design, allowing her to add real value to projects.  As an employee and manager, Sarah has worked with Accor, Mayne Nickless Logistics, Hard Rock Café, Barclays Bank, Heath Lambert Insurance, NAB, Jemena (formerly Alinta) and IAG.
